Welcome, Alyssa, FifthColor’s New Digital Marketing Strategist.
In collaboration with the Director of Marketing and the strategy team, Alyssa will develop and execute omnichannel digital marketing strategies encompassing SEO, content marketing, email marketing, social media advertising, and more.
Alyssa moved to the United States when she was just 17 years old. She quickly adapted to life in the U.S. and has lived in California, Maryland, and now, Wisconsin!
Alyssa earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Communication from the University of California Davis. Later, she earned her MS in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
Alyssa brings with her a variety of experiences from across the world, including three years of digital marketing positions at WPP, KFC, and Henkel.
In her time at Henkel, a multinational chemical and consumer goods company, Alyssa was responsible for generating reports for the performance of the adhesive department’s TikTok account. With the goal of increasing engagement on TikTok, Alyssa collaborated with their agency of record to collect and synthesize the performance data. In the end, Alyssa helped to identify specific content with the highest impression and engagement opportunity. As a result, Henkel’s engagement rate increased by 2%, and followers increased by over 100 in a one-month timeframe.
In addition, Alyssa spearheaded multiple video campaigns for Henkel’s new products. By collecting product information and communicating with her agency team, she was able to increase website conversion rate by over 3%.
Alyssa’s expertise also extends beyond social media advertising to email marketing, Google Analytics, tracking, and more. In an email campaign for an e-commerce client, Alyssa was able to integrate GA4 with the email platform to track customer purchases and email activity, increasing online sales by over 10%.
Working in three different industries helped Alyssa discover her passion for marketing. In her first marketing role, Alyssa executed strategies for the performance marketing department, where she sorted through tons of platform data to make better marketing decisions. This was the first time she realized the magic of digital marketing.
