Overview
We are looking for a full-time, in-person Senior Full-Stack Developer with extensive web experience to join our growing team of developers. Working in a constantly changing suite of technologies, we are looking for a jack-of-all-trades in development. Primary responsibilities include utilizing your knowledge to develop, implement, and maintain dynamically driven websites and web-based technologies that meet the needs of our clients.
This role requires a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development, as well as a creative mindset to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centric products. The role will incorporate design, code, test solutions, and integrations for web-based systems while working closely with the Director of Development.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and project managers, to understand the project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Develop pixel-perfect, responsive and user-friendly websites, web applications and other digital platforms based on designed wireframes.
- Implement front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and Javascript while ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
- Design and develop server-side logic, database structures, and APIs to seamlessly integrate front-end and back-end systems.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and security of all developed solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and tools.
- Develop custom solutions for clients in a variety of industries while also contributing to the development of in-house marketing software, including labor schedulers, PTO trackers, review systems, and more.
- Integrate custom solutions into marketing platforms such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and more.
- Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- 8-10+ years of proven experience as a Senior Full-Stack Developer or similar role within a marketing agency or similar organization.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong understanding of back-end development using languages like Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) or ORM frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Gift) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Working knowledge in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Desire to learn new technologies and proactively seek professional development opportunities.
- Ability to manage multiple project deadlines at once.
- Ability to commute to our Sheboygan Falls office daily and work in a team environment.
