Overview
FifthColor is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Creative Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about unique branding and innovative design and seeing projects through from concept to completion. As a Senior Creative Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our clients across industries like sports, sporting goods, food, beverage, manufacturing, and more, while ensuring the highest quality of creative output.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creative design for a wide range of projects including print, digital, and multimedia campaigns.
- Develop and execute innovative design concepts that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, copywriters, and strategy to deliver cohesive and impactful designs.
- Conduct client presentations, effectively communicating design ideas and rationale.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging design technologies to continuously elevate our creative output.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Maintain a high standard of quality and consistency across all design projects.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and solutions.
- Oversee and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and constructive feedback to foster their growth and development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional design experience.
- Creative agency setting is a plus!
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work and creative solutions.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage workload.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Extra Components
- Experience in print production and knowledge of printing processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with web design and user experience (UX) principles is also a plus.
- Working knowledge in Adobe After Effects is preferred but not required.
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
