Welcome, Josh, FifthColor’s new Creative Specialist – Photographer/Videographer.
In this role, Josh will work closely with his fellow agency team members to capture high-quality, creative, and on-brand photos and videos for internal and client-facing advertising campaigns, marketing materials, and social media content. Josh brings with him a unique skill set and 13 years of experience with editing tools like Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and anything camera related. Josh also holds certificates in Small Business Management and Drone Piloting.
Josh’s passion for photography began in middle school when he received his first 35mm camera. His passion led him to switch programs from Electrical Power Distribution to Marketing and Business Management. This allowed Josh to learn the fundamentals of business while traveling the countryside, growing his skillset in photography and film.
In 2012, Josh turned his dream into a reality when he started his own business as an adventure, outdoor & lifestyle photographer.
"I’ve had many great memories afield documenting adventures where I have sat back and realized, 'I get paid for this?' It humbles me greatly, and I believe you have to love what you do, or you will live with regrets," said Josh.
"FifthColor is a thriving culture that fosters both personal and professional growth while allowing a collaborative, fun environment. I hope to continue down the path of growing my skillset along with implementing new techniques and processes that I learn from my cohorts."
Josh has donated his expertise and skillset to a number of non-profit organizations across the state, including The Great Lakes Boat Building School, Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, Quail Unlimited, and The National Wild Turkey Federation.
Josh resides in Ripon, Wisconsin, where he enjoys hiking with his two daughters, hunting & fishing, and playing sand volleyball.
“My favorite thing of my career is just chasing the story and finding subtle elements that make or break a viewers’ experience,” said Josh.
