FifthColor is thrilled to announce the latest addition to our team, Josh Joyce, who joins us as an Internal Marketing Strategist.
With a rich background spanning six years in the industry, Josh brings a wealth of experience and a unique creative flair to our organization. Josh has called a variety of cities home over the years, including Cincinnati, Ohio, Danbury, Connecticut, Sun Prairie, Oshkosh, and Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, before settling in Sheboygan for the last 18 years.
Josh has developed a diverse perspective that enriches his professional approach. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from UW-Oshkosh, which laid the foundation for his impressive career trajectory.
Before joining FifthColor, Josh made significant strides at 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. as the Marketing and Communications Manager. There, he single-handedly managed the marketing department, collaborating closely with the owner to strategize yearly beer releases and marketing campaigns. His multifaceted role included everything from product naming and design to social media management and even hands-on woodworking for the taproom. This experience underscored his ability to wear multiple hats and contribute creatively and practically to business growth.
Josh’s motivation stems from a desire to be part of a small, dynamic team where he can make a tangible impact. His career path, which began in customer service and unexpectedly veered into marketing through his work at a brewery, highlights his adaptability and eagerness to embrace new challenges.
His personal life reflects a balance between professional ambition and love for experiences with family, paired with his love for travel, photography, and DIY projects.
One of Josh’s proudest accomplishments includes playing a pivotal role in helping grow 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. to become one of the largest craft breweries in Wisconsin. His innovative approach to marketing, such as revitalizing the Pilsner program through custom tap handles, showcases his ability to think outside the box and drive remarkable sales growth. In the first year of the program, sales of the Pilsner brought the formula back from the possibility of discontinuation. The continued success of the program has led to record growth and sales increases every year. All for a scrap of wood, 20 minutes of time, and an understanding of the importance of making the customer feel important.
Josh was drawn to FifthColor by our creative, fast-paced environment and the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a rapidly expanding business. He aims to bring new perspectives, energy, and a sense of humor to our team. His journey from a hands-on role at a brewery to a strategic position at FifthColor exemplifies his growth-oriented mindset and creative problem-solving skills.
We’re excited to see how Josh’s creativity and strategic thinking will help propel FifthColor to new heights. His track record of driving growth and engaging in meaningful, creative work aligns perfectly with our goals and culture.
Welcome aboard, Josh! We can’t wait to see the innovative ideas and strategies you’ll bring to our team.
