Courteney serves as FifthColor's VP of Accounting.
In this role, Courteney will work closely with leadership to oversee accounting functions at FifthColor. Her daily responsibilities include preparing monthly financial budgeting reports, reviewing and analyzing monthly financial results, and overseeing month-end close processes. She will also assist with various Human Resource tasks for all FifthColor departments.
Courteney utilizes her prior education in accounting from Lakeland University to bring FifthColor fresh eyes that brighten at the opportunity of solving challenges. She thrives in collaborative environments that allow her to find innovative alleys to tackle any issues that arise. Courteney has passed all four CPA exams and is currently working towards the last few credits to become a certified public accountant.

Courteney originally found her passion for accounting through her mother, who serves as her inspiration and role model. Today, Courteney’s favorite part of her career is working with others and understanding how vital each department is for the success of the company.
She has a sharp eye for numbers, as Courteney comes from an extensive auditing and financial analysis background of over six years. Previously, Courteney held positions at CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), Sikich, and Kohler Co in auditing and financial analysis. Her experience in auditing complex areas and transactions and preparing financial statements has prepared her well for this role with the FifthColor team.

Courteney is a Sheboygan native and Sheboygan North High School Alum. She was an active dance team member and continues her legacy today by coaching and encouraging the current varsity dancers.

Outside of work, Courteney enjoys camping up north with her boyfriend, Austin, and two dogs, Izzy & Remington. At Courteney’s home away from home, you can catch her riding her atv/utv, fishing, or golfing.
